The Good Earth

Saving 114,650m3 of landfill space each year

Paper products are all around us today.

As we progress towards modernization and globalization, demand for paper and paper products have been increasing at a rapid pace.

Due to that around 87% of the world pulp production comes from wood, it strains the world’s resource of trees and causes deforestation which leads to global warming. As a matter of fact, deforestation adds up to 2.5 billion tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere annually, about 20% of the amount produced by fossil fuel burning.

Hence, to curb the effect of global warming and further prevent damage to the environment, the world has adopted the use of recycled materials or biowastes for paper production. With less trees being cut down, less CO2 and wastes will be released back to the environment.
